Hit The Ground Running

Have you ever had that feeling within a relationship that it's time to move on? That you are the one that's seen to be at fault, but you know whatever has gone wrong isn't totally down to you?

Are you are just waiting to pick your moment to make a positive move that lets you look forward with optimism?

Hit The Ground Running, the tenth and final track from A Storm Is Coming, is a song about that very situation, and it's found a lot of love from fans and critics alike.

So much so that we've decided to make it the first in a series of live single releases on all digital platforms. It is out on 15 May and can be pre-saved HERE.

Once again, the track has been produced by Steve Birkett and mixed and mastered by Steve Birkett Junior.

As well as Steve Snr and me, it features Neil Ablard on drums, Nigel Darvill on keys and Hammond and Jim Peterson on bass.

The cover was designed by Colin Speller and me and is based on an image taken at the Tuesday Night Music Club, Coulsdon by Gordon White.

There will be also be a video on my YouTube Channel.
