A Gig, a Charity Event, Then a Break - Summer 2024

As announced recently on social media, after everything that has happened in the last six months, I have decided that I need some time off from gigging this summer, both to concentrate on writing new music and to take a holiday. I have teaching commitments until early July, so the best time for such break will be from mid-July until September.

Because of this, and the fact that I have the opportunity to go away in late July, and after discussion with Lee Graham, I have reluctantly withdrawn from the Just Push Play Festival that we were due to play on 3 August. Fortunately, Lee has been able to accommodate this change within an amazing line-up for a fantastic festival.

I thank Lee for his understanding, and I apologise to anyone who was hoping to see us at the festival. We are hoping to get to the festival in the future.

Our next full-band gig at the Hare & Hounds on 23 May will be, therefore, our last for a while. On Friday 28 June, I will be joining the House Band at the Stand Together Against Cancer gig at The Forum, Darlington, the fundraiser in support of the appeal for funds for medical treatment for Matt Long of Catfish. Full details and tickets available here. Currently the next gig after that is the stripped back 2-piece line-up at Temperance, Leamington Spa on 4 October and then the full band at the Carlisle Blues/Rock Festival on 12 October.

We have lots of discussions for other gigs under way for the period from October onwards and into 2025, so keep a look out here.

Thanks again to Lee and to you all for your continued support xxx
