New album 'A Storm Is Coming' - Physical Pre-order Now Live

I am absolutely over the moon to announce that the pre-sale for our new album is now open.

As you know, our sixth studio album, A Storm Is Coming, will be released on Friday 31 October, and the physical pre-sale is now live HERE.

We have on offer:

CD (6-panel digi-pack)

180g transparent vinyl with red splatter including a double-sided lyric insert

Album T shirt

Lyric and Story of the Album Book

These can be purchased individually, or in discounted bundles offering every possible combination of the items.

More of my thoughts later, but here I will say that Steve Birkett and I are really pleased with it and we can't wait for you to hear it. Three of the tracks are out as singles, so you will have some feel for the music, and if you are coming to the 100 Club (see below) you'll hear more.

In terms of the practical stuff, we hope to have the merch to sell at the 100 Club gig (see below) and that being the case we will dispatch all pre-orders on Friday 24 October, with every order received after that date dispatched as soon as possible after receipt. So, if you pre-order, you will get your hands on the album in advance of the official release.

The only potential fly in the ointment is the vinyl. The lead times for this are such that vinyl albums might have to be dispatched separately after the main pre-orders. At the moment, we think the worst case would be dispatch by mid-November, but we will have firmer dates soon and we are still hopeful they will arrive by the time of the 100 Club gig. We will keep you posted on this.

Huge thanks to everyone who has made this possible, especially Steve Birkett for creating the songs with me, doing the recording and playing most of the instruments, Steve Birkett Junior for mixing and mastering all but one of the tracks, Gavin Monaghan for his work on These Days, Neil Ablard for playing drums on every track, Nigel Darvill and Jim Peterson for their contributions to Hit The Ground Running and Colin Speller for his work with me on the artwork, for pulling together all the necessary supporting information for the album and setting up the pre-sale site.

Which reminds me, if you spot any errors or problems on the pre-sale site please email us.

We expect the digital pre-save link to be available in about ten days.

We will be launching the album at the 100 Club in Oxford Street, London on Tuesday 28 October where we are grateful to Solid Entertainments for promoting it. The evening will be opened by acoustic sets from Zoe Schwarz and Rob Koral, and Mississippi MacDonald.

It will be a great night and I really look forward to seeing you there.

My thanks to everyone who has or will purchase the new album.

Rebecca xx
