I am absolutely delighted to announce the release of our eagerly anticipated third studio album, More Sinner Than Saint, on 24th May through our own label, Mad Hat Records, containing twelve new, original songs written by Steve Birkett and me.
This album has had a long gestation, but that has given us chance to work with some amazing people alongside the team that brought you the previous albums. At the outset, we consulted with producer Chris Kimsey, who has previously worked with The Rolling Stones, to select and refine the 12 tracks and to achieve what Steve and I see as the perfect expression of our current writing.
With five of the tracks having been mixed by Californian based Bill Drescher, whose previous accolades include working with Rick Springfield and The Bangles, and the remainder of the tracks being mixed by Thunder’s Chris Childs, we believe the pedigree of this album is faultless.
In addition to my superb studio band that includes Dan Clark, Lloyd Daker and Rick Benton (also of Magnum), all of whom have made their own considerable contribution to the recording, I am delighted that my good friend the multi-award-winning Alan Nimmo (King King) plays guitar on If I Go To Sleep and Magnum’s Tony Clarkin delivers a fabulous guitar solo on Breathe Out.

Formats and Availability
The album will be released on CD in a 6-panel Digipack. We will also be undertaking a vinyl edition and in the first instance this will be limited to 300 copies on red 180g vinyl. Any subsequent pressings will be on black vinyl so this will be a very special limited edition. The album will also be released for digital download via iTunes and Amazon.
Pre-orders can be made now at our online shop. We are offering a number of different bundles and all pre-orders can be signed by Rebecca.
Just to be absolutely clear given everything that is going on with Pledge Music, you are purchasing directly from us. All recording, mixing and mastering is complete, the vinyl has been ordered and the CDs and T shirts will be in production very soon.
Just to remind you that purchase from our shop or at gigs is usually the cheapest source, it enables us to deliver you a personal service and it returns the maximum amount of the price to us. Purchasing physical copies from any source other than us - Amazon, shops, etc - returns less that half of the cover price to us.
New Album T Shirt
We are commissioning a brand new T shirt design to accompany the album release. It will have the album cover on the front and the track listing on the rear. It is available in the full range of sizes from S to 3XL and is a bargain when you buy it alongside the album in CD or Vinyl format. If you buy the lot we will throw in a RD keyring/bottle opener, a signed lyric sheet for the title track and a few other special goodies as well.
