Third Single 'Hold The Reins' Out Now

Hold The Reins is the third single from our forthcoming, sixth studio album, and is now out on all streaming platforms. It can be streamed here. A video will be released on our YouTube channel on Friday 22 August (please subscribe and sign up for notifications if you haven't done so already).

It is another rock number - a powerful, anthemic song about taking back control and not being subservient. It's a call to arms to get real and make a significant change.

As with Falling Into You, the music and lyrics were written by Steve and me, the recording and production were done by Steve and his son Steve Birkett Junior and the track was mixed and mastered by Steve Jnr.

I am enjoying this period of regular single releases and the reaction it generates. Last week I was over the moon to hear that our previous release, Falling Into You, had been play-listed by Planet Rock Radio. We don't employ significant PR resources, so it was especially pleasing to see the song being picked up by the station. If you are a Planet Rock listener, please do request it.

The play-listing of the song was especially pleasing for Steve and his son given their role in the recording, production, mixing and mastering. We have taken this part of the process 'in house' for a variety of reasons, so it was great to see the quality of their work recognised in this way.

We will be dropping another single in September and we hope to have news of the album pre-sale very soon.
