'Waiting For The Morning' Single Out Now

Waiting For The Morning, the fourth single release from my sixth studio album, A Storm Is Coming, is available now on all digital platforms.

Waiting For The Morning is a roots-rock/blues-rock ballad with Hammond warmth, guitar swells and an intimate female vocal. Nocturnal verses bloom into a hopeful refrain in a slow-burn, atmospheric track that has found favour with both fans and radio DJs, and Bernard Doherty of Planet Rock Radio UK has included the track on the station’s Blues Power playlist.

We have been humbled by the reaction of music lovers, Radio presenters and critics to our latest album. This track seems to have found particular resonance with blues music fans and we felt it was only right that we should highlight it by releasing it as a single. There is a certain irony here in that the overall theme of the album is quite dark and foreboding yet this, the most bluesy of the tracks, is a song about excitement and warm anticipation.

We are doing a series of headline gigs in February and tracks from the new album will be a prominent part of the set.

We are really looking forward to performing the music live and I hope to see you somewhere on the road.
